John is a veteran attorney, licensed in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, bringing nearly 40 years of experience in commercial transactions, business organizations, commercial and business litigation, real estate, planning and zoning, wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, maritime transactions, and creditors’ rights matters. John’s extensive background in corporate litigation began in the 1980s at Ashland Oil where he practiced as Senior Group Counsel for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining BLF, John practiced Of Counsel at the former Greenbaum, Doll & McDonald (now Bingham, Greenbaum, Doll) as a member of the dispute resolution practice group, representing high-profile clients such as Marathon Petroleum, Lexington Coal Company, and Ashland Oil. John and his wife live in Nicholasville and have five children. His greatest joy is being "Pappaw" to his seven grandchildren. |
