Chris is a Lexington native and graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. While in law school, Chris was the international business law intern at Valvoline, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, for two years. In his first year, Chris witnessed the separation of Valvoline from its parent company, Ashland, Inc., and Valvoline’s Initial Public Offering. There, he primarily drafted a variety of contracts for various departments. In his second year he was able to build upon his experience and assisted with several mergers and acquisitions and helped manage Valvoline’s international trademark and copyright portfolio. Chris began working with BLF as an undergraduate student and now looks forward to bringing his corporate knowledge and experience to help clients grow and accomplish their goals in an efficient manner. In his spare time, Chris enjoys working out and hiking. He also serves as the Chapter Advisor for his social fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, at Transylvania University and volunteers with a Chance to Dance, a non-profit organization offering free dance classes to children of all ages who have various special needs. |
